Our international client required an agency that was able to represent them across multiple projects and sites here in the UK. The aim was to take the existing Olive Oil & Oregano concept and adapt it, making it attractive to the UK market whilst also meeting the high standards required by the landlord, Westfield. Olive Oil & Oregano is a brand with fresh, healthy, real Mediterranean food at its heart.
Once the operational flow of the island unit was established, the team set about creating a visual style that focused on the display and presentation of the fresh produce whilst also bringing customers closer to the food preparation, creating a food theatre. To support the brand values of fresh, healthy and real; classic colours, natural materials, such as fumed oak were used as a backdrop to the food theatre. High specification architectural grade materials were sewn in to the design to create a high-quality finish.
A graphic discovery and evolution exercise was undertaken to evolve the graphic communication of the brand, making it customer friendly as well as easy to read and understand.
An award winning food concept, which engages passing customers via mouth-watering product displays and a lively food theatre around the fiery grills. The International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) awarded Olive Oil and Oregano the Most Innovative Concept across Europe in 2011.
Olive Oil & Oregano now has two food court sites in the UK one at Westfield Merry Hill and the other at Westfield Stratford. Our client is planning the expansion of Olive Oil & Oregano within the UK and is considering a number of London locations.
