How to take a boutique bakery to the next level at an iconic location in a unique site that encompasses multiple operations and customer experiences that reacts through the day and seasonally.
Working with the founder Matt Jones and and co-ordinating with the project team, TYC strived to create a multi purpose and reactive space that creates both drama and intimacy. The big idea was to ‘connect the baker to the people and create a place to learn, share & break bread’.
The space enables customers to gather and connect whilst learning and being inspired by the craft of baking. The flagship dovetails into the seismic shift underway in city living due to changing lifestyles of Millennials and their altered view of third places and social spaces and offers more than just remarkable products. It hosts a restaurant, deli, wholesale bakery and baking school.
