The future of kebabs in the UK

The brief:
Working with an existing brand franchise from Australia we were approached by the client to develop the concept to suit the UK market. This included the logo, the communication and the look-and-feel of the interiors.
The approach:
Clearly there are some massive hurdles to overcome here! In conversation with the client we realised that many of their foods and the way they intend to serve it really were different and more inline with the popular gourmet food offers providing more healthier alternatives to the everyday sandwich.
The outcome:
By reviewing language, imagery and the UK food industry we identified a communication pack that engages the customer and gets to the point quickly to communicate the healthy side of the offer. The imagery and menu will leave the fluorescent-backlit menu boards behind and instead show mouth-watering products in a sophisticated way. The test now will be to see how customers react when the first store opens in Q2 2010!
