David Mayer Naman - Designing prestigious Coin concessions
"Inspired by the self-confident and sensual man, sure of his appeal and cool on every occasion."
David Mayer Naman- Client: David Mayer Naman
- Disciplines: Interior design
The brief:
To work with the David Mayer Naman concept but create a lighter, more refined design and apply it to 4 new prestigious Coin concession locations across Italy. These new sites form an important new relationship with Italy’s largest department store and therefore need to be executed proficiently and quickly in line with the ‘General criteria for creating “Corners” at Coin branches’.
The approach:
Following a kick-off meeting, site visits and surveys the team set about producing concept options to show how the design could evolve. This stage explored the best use of space available whilst maximising the presence of the David Mayer Naman.
Following concept selection from our client, the team created an 'approval pack' for the landlord inline with the ‘General Criteria’ set out by Coin.
The outcome:
A set of sleek and contemporary concessions that really allow the David Mayer Naman brand to stand out and compete against rival luxury brands (such as Ted Baker, G-Star, Calvin Klein, Armani Jeans, Polo) in the Coin department stores.
