Camden Food co - A new approach to food on the move
"The store has a unique and vibrant design along with a diverse range of products unlike anything else on the station concourse."
Michelle Theanne, Brand Manager, SSP- Client: Camden food co.
- Disciplines: Interior design, Brand manual and roll-out
The brief:
Following the success of the brand and the creation of a new Brand manual by The Yard Creative, the Liverpool Street site posed new challenges due to its location. Being set back from the main concourse the site had to attract passing customers and create a dynamic space to stand out from its surrounding retailers.
The approach:
By understanding the restrictions and opportunities of the space whilst watching customer flow through the station we were able to utilise areas that were previously dead space to attract customers and create a warm welcoming space. Having established the brand manual it was also important to ensure consistency to help strengthen the Camden food co. brand.
The outcome:
By creating an external seating area, the use of strong graphics and the correct lighting the store now jumps out at you and has created an environment you just can't miss. The use of the deli display angled on the front counter helps reinforce to freshness and high quality of food on offer.
