The brief:
Working together with DSP Architects, The Yard Creative were approached to create a new look for the Co-Operatives stores. Together with the actual shell of the interior the main aim was to create a communication package that made it easier for customers to shop the store whilst at the same time communicate their Responsible Retail issues.
The approach:
By understanding that as customers we can only absorb the right information at the right time, it was important to create clear separation across all the messages the client wanted to communicate. By generating communication streams including navigation, promotions, campaigns, quality and service messages the team were able to create different styles for each whilst ensuring they sat together as one family.
The outcome:
A clean, clear store that allows customers to easily navigate, whilst the brand can endorse itself as a true Responsible Retailer who is still at the heart of the local community.
